Status Quo’s John ‘Rhino’ Edwards & Friends

Tuesday 13th May ‘25

LEGEND IN A TRILOGY OF RHINO ROCK

One of Status Quo's Corner Stones since 1986. Almost 40 years on and still Rocking All Over The World.

This is a rare chance to meet, greet & hear a great British performer with a cracking band. Status Quo Drummer Leon Cave will be joining Rhino himself at The Crooked Billet. Craig Joiner of Romeo's Daughter will complete the touring band. Rhino will be doing his own acoustic support on this show, performing for the first time songs that inspired him to be a musician.

John ‘Rhino’ Edwards joined Status Quo after their 1985 televised global Live Aid performance when Quo opened the concert with their anthemic hit ‘Rocking All Over The World’. It was the largest television broadcast of all time, an estimated audience of 109 billion in 150 nations watched the live broadcast, nearly 40% of the world’s population. Status Quo are one of Europe’s biggest selling & most successful bands with over 60 UK chart hit, over 33 albums. They appeared on Top of The Pops more than any other band. Other than Francis Rossi & Andy Brown, Rhino is Quo’s longest serving member. Having previously been a member of acts including The Climax Blues Band, Space, Judy Tzuke & Dexy’s Midnight Runners. Rhino was invited to join Quo in the 80s & has been permanent in the line-up ever since.
