We’re delighted to have some fantastic Boogie Woogie back at the Crooked Billet & we have coaxed Ben & his full, all-star line up back to the Crooked Billet for what is absolutely guaranteed to be an amazing evening.
For the uninitiated, Ben is one of the planets most formidable boogie pianists. Did you catch him on ‘Later’ performing with Jools Holland & Charlie Watts? Ben was a pianist in Charlie Watts’ Boogie Woogie band & also with the Rolling Stones. However, with his own band, Ben shines, a brilliant, highly entertaining entertainer & vocalist. He’s toured & recorded with absolutely everybody.

The Rolling Stones perform on all tracks of Ben's new 2023 album. His professional rock n roll career started in 1980 at the infeasible age of 14 as a pianist in Shakin Stevens band (Shaky was the Uk's biggest selling singles artist of the 80's, out selling Abba, Queen & Elton John). Ben went on to form his own band & became one of the planets hottest honky tonkers. He's recorded & toured the globe, performed with many of the greats; Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Jools Holland. Pianist with the late Charlie Watts boogie band. Pianist in Ronnie Wood's All Stars - Johnny Depp, Ronnie Wood, Imelda May & Jeff Beck.
