Pixie & The Gypsies

A Welcome return from Pixie & the Gypsies. Sometimes you hear a voice that just stops you in your steps. Such a voice belongs to Taylor Notcutt, who formed Pixie and The Gypsies in 2015. Usually found playing in larger venues Soho Pizza Express live stage, Camden Jazz Café, Ronnie Scotts, 8 shows at the Guinnes Cork Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Rye Jazz & Blues Festival. Thrilled they’re playing to 40 of us in the end dining room with a #1 album under their belt. Their music is enchanting, swing, melodic pop & Jazz. Their own compositions alongside a selection of covers. Jazz meets pop. Taylor Notcutts’s breath-taking, sultry, honeyed vocals, Taylor also playing accordion. Connie Chatwin on violin & backing vocals. Tim Dylan on double bass, Matt Wilson- guitar. Enormous thanks for returning to Stoke Row despite their #1 chart success & festival demand (apparently they like the cooking & love the audience).
