MUSIC NIGHTS & COVID DILIGENCE
Music nights are hosted in a centrally heated marquee connected to the pub enabling Covid management & socially distanced tables. Audience need to have pre-show dinner and remain seated during the performance. Table service food & drinks throughout the evening.
Please don’t chat during the performance…people have come to listen. Respect the musicians & other guests.
Whilst the 10pm curfew applies, performances start at 8:30pm & conclude before 10:00pm. Guests can arrive for dinner from 6:00pm – you must be at your table by 7:00pm absolute latest.
Masks must be worn until you’re seated, staff will assist with the ‘one way’ flow routes. There are plenty of hand sanitising points around the whole venue. Additional WC’s installed offering extra hand washing facilities. We also use disposable menus & NHS Tack & Trace.
“WHY DO WE HAVE TO HAVE DINNER?”
I’m a chef, The Crooked Billet is a restaurant (Waitrose Favourite Foodie Pub 2020) Along with cooking my passion is music.
We host occasional music nights seating 40-50 guests. Most of our musicians perform because we feed & water them well (& are petrified performing to such an intimate crowd).
Financially – ticket money, less VAT, goes to the artist. We survive off food & drink sales. Arrive with an appetite! We need to enjoy at least 2 courses.
Thanks for supporting us. Thanks to our incredible musicians. I know you’re itching to get up & bop or offer standing applause… …COVID! Remain seated!
No chatting during the show. Respect others and help keep music live. – Paul Clerehugh 2020
